Stephanie Schoppe joined Bulldog Athletics as the Sports Information Graduate Assistant in August 2016. In addition to providing sports information support to the Bulldogs, she attends the School of Business in pursuit of her Master of Arts in Management.
Schoppe graduated from the University of Redlands’ Johnston Center for Integrated Studies with an emphasis in Sports Business/Marketing and Women’s and Gender Studies. The Johnston program provides an educational process that seeks to give students ownership of their education and an opportunity to develop and individualize their own major, learning and sharing things they are passionate about.
Hailing from San Jose, Schoppe has always been passionate about sports. She played club volleyball from ages 12-18 and took baseball statistics all four years of high school. She has also worked for two minor league baseball teams in her young career.
In addition to earning her bachelor’s degree, Schoppe worked as a student assistant for sports information throughout her career. Upon conclusion of her senior year, she was named the Student Employee of the Year for her excellent contributions to Bulldog Athletics.
Schoppe looks forward to a career in athletics, whether at the college or professional level. In her free time she enjoys playing volleyball, reading, sleeping in, and cheering on the San Francisco Giants, the 49ers, the Golden State Warriors, and of course, the Bulldogs.
