Due to the wet and rainy conditions throughout Southern California, numerous University of Redlands athletic events that were originally scheduled for Sat., Feb. 6, have been either cancelled or postponed.

The softball doubleheader against Hope International University that was set to start at 12 p.m. today has been postponed until a later date yet to be determined.

The men’s and women’s tennis matches that were to be played at Concordia University – Irvine and Biola University have been postponed as well. The men’s match at Biola has been rescheduled for Sat., Feb. 20, at 9:30 a.m. in Los Angeles. They are slated to face Concordia on Fri., March 5, at 1 p.m. in Irvine. The women’s match against Concordia will be played at a date still to be determined.

The rainy weather has also impacted the annual baseball alumni event that was planned for today. Although the actual game has been cancelled, the barbecue and social will take place from 12-3 p.m. in the Orton Center on the University of Redlands campus.

The men’s and women’s swimming & diving meet at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges will take place as scheduled.
