Bulldog Athletics Launches Live Statistics for Basketball, Baseball and Softball

Bulldog Athletics is proud to unveil the latest innovation to www.goredlands.com with the addition of real-time statistics. Beginning with the 2009 baseball and softball seasons, www.goredlands.com will run live statistics for home games through the URL http://livestats.prestosports.com/redlands.

After clicking on http://livestats.prestosports.com/redlands or by accessing “Live Statistics” through the appropriate online schedule page, fans may select the corresponding sport and follow the game play-by- play with an updated box score.

Bulldog Athletics has been utilizing the feature for men's and women's basketball and will continue to do so for future home games..

Over the next two to three years, Redlands hopes to phase-in live statistics for men’s and women’s soccer, football, women’s volleyball and women’s lacrosse.

“We are very excited to offer live statistics to our fans,” said Rachel Roche, Sports Information Director. “This is a great way for parents and alumni, especially those who live out of the area, to follow the action of our teams..”

Redlands signed on with PrestoSports and launched the new online home for Bulldog Athletics, www.goredlands.com, in May of 2008.

The first softball game to utilize live statistics will be Tuesday, February 10, when the Eagles of Concordia University - Irvine square off against the Redlands Bulldogs in a 1 p.m. doubleheader.  This event was rescheduled from Saturday, February 7, due to rain.
