The University of Redlands baseball team won sizably against La
Sierra University Tuesday afternoon in Riverside, downing the
Golden Eagles by an 11-3 final.
Redlands came into the third inning up, 2-1, and from that point
through the top of the ninth, the Maroon and Gray plated nine
unanswered runs.
The Golden Eagles scored two unearned runs in the ninth to spell
out the final tally.
Four Bulldogs compiled two hits. Junior rightfielder Nate Carlson
(Portland, OR) drove in a team-high four runs off of a two-run
homer and a two-run single.

strikeouts in four innings of work.
Five relief pitchers chewed up the final five innings. The bullpen
combined to surrender just two hits.
