Reserved Tickets Available for Redlands-San Diego State Men's Basketball Game until Dec. 23

The University of Redlands men's basketball team faces NCAA Division I competitor, San Diego State University, on Friday, Dec. 30, at 7 p.m. in Viejas Arena. Approximately 100 tickets are being held for Redlands fans until 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, and may be purchased for $20 (includes a $5 service fee) by calling the Aztec Athletic Ticket Office at 619-283-7378. Fans should request the "Redlands section" when ordering over the phone.

The Bulldogs (3-3) recently won the 64th Annual Lee Fulmer Memorial Tournament with a solid 67-54 victory over Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in the championship game. Junior guard Tristan Kirk (Redlands, CA) racked up a balanced stat line en route to tournament MVP honors. He contributed 43 total points on 57.7% shooting from the field to go along with 18 rebounds and 18 assists.

Senior center Jack Colston (Dana Point, CA) and junior guard Brian Kuklok (Poway, CA) collected All-Tournament honors as well.

San Diego State (8-2) upset No. 24 Cal in a 64-63 thriller on Dec. 4, recording the Aztec's second win against a ranked Pac-12 team and their third against the familiar conference this season. SDSU defeated then-No. 23 Arizona by four points at Tucson on Nov. 23 after taking down USC in a 56-54 decision at home on Nov. 17.

Chase Tapley currently leads SDSU with 17.2 points per game, while three other players boast double-digit scoring averages.
