The No. 13 University of Redlands men’s water polo team retained its national ranking with four wins last week, according to a press release that was sent out this morning by the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA).

Last Wednesday, the Bulldogs beat Chapman University by a 12-7 final in Orange before routing Caltech 24-1 in Pasadena later that evening.

In the first game of the afternoon on Saturday, the Bulldogs won 17-4 against the University of La Verne in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) action before downing UC Santa Cruz by a 14-8 final.

No other Division III institution cracked the Varsity Top 20, and Redlands earned a unanimous vote in the Division III poll.

Redlands (22-7, 5-0 SCIAC) takes on the Poets of Whittier College at 4 p.m. at the Thompson Aquatic Center this afternoon. Prior to the start of the match, the team will honor its four senior members.
