Redlands Swimming & Diving Upends Cal Lutheran

The University of Redlands swimming & diving teams defeated
Cal Lutheran University on Saturday afternoon in Thousand Oaks. The
men downed the Kingsmen, 182-48, while the women escaped with a
135-104 victory over the Regals.
Cal Lutheran’s women’s team gave the Bulldogs all they
could handle, but Redlands’ depth proved too much for the
Regals in the end.
Freshman Allie Bollella (Palo Alto, CA) gained two individual-event
victories, both of which proved vital to the Bulldogs’ cause.
She clocked the top time in the 50 freestyle (24.97) before
blasting the field in the 100 freestyle (54.77).
Freshman Lauren Craig (Newcastle, CA) led throughout the entirety
of the 200 individual medley and finished first with a time of
2:15.38.

yards of the race. Senior Melanie Loo (Waipahu, HI) then overtook
her down the home stretch and stopped the clock first at
2:14.19.

freestyle (1:46.35) before unleashing a 2:00.51 200 butterfly.
