Mann, Hamilton Represent Redlands Aquatics at Bulldog Dive Invite

Sophomore Shelby Mann (Bainbridge Island, WA) and senior Chelsea Hamilton (Parker, CO) represented the University of Redlands swimming & diving teams at the Bulldog Dive Invite on Saturday afternoon in Redlands, faring well in both the 1-meter and the 3-meter.

Mann posted a score of 134.90 in the 1-meter for 15th place overall before taking sixth in the 3-meter with a 150.50 mark.

Hamilton boasted the Maroon and Gray’s top standard in the 1-meter (138.65) and followed up with a 16th-place performance in the 3-meter (124.80).

Marisa Pulcrano from Occidental College won both the women’s 1-meter and 3-meter while Whittier College’s Tyler Asner and Caltech’s Justin Johnson notched the top score in the men’s 1-meter and 3-meter, respectively.

Redlands (0-1; 0-1) takes a weekend off from competition before returning to the Thompson Aquatic Center for a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) meet against the University of La Verne on Dec. 4. Diving is set to start at 2 p.m. while the swimming portion will commence at 2:30 p.m.
