Senior Forward Courtney Carroll Garners D3hoops.com All-West Region Recognition

It was announced on Tuesday that senior forward Courtney Carroll (Rancho Palo Verdes, CA) added another accolade to her already-impressive career with the University of Redlands women's basketball program by collecting D3hoops.com All-West Region Third-Team honors.

Carroll caps off her four-year stint with the Bulldogs as one of the most decorated and successful players in the program's history. She currently ranks third all-time with 1,437 points and 755 rebounds. In addition, her 128 blocked shots reset the school record, surpassing the previous mark by 20.

During the 2011-12 season, Carroll played a pivotal role in the Bulldogs' 19-8 overall record and second-place finish in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC). With 13.0 points per game, she served as the team's leading scorer while knocking down 41.1% of her attempts. She scored in double figures on 21 occasions, highlighted by a season-high 23 points against Concordia University - Irvine on Dec. 20.

In addition, this well-rounded contributor pulled in 7.4 rebounds per game and dished out 3.4 assists per game.

Carroll recorded a triple-double on Jan. 28 with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. She also supplied seven double-doubles during her senior campaign.

Earlier this season, she earned College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District honors for her success on the basketball court and in the classroom. She also garnered her fourth All-SCIAC laurel in her career, boasting her third First-Team nod with this year's selection.

Carroll was one of two players selected from the SCIAC schools, joining Occidental College's junior forward Makenzie Brandon on the All-West Region Team.
