Women's Lacrosse Player KK McCaslin Collects Honor Roll Recognition from Synapse Sports

It was announced on Tuesday that sophomore midfielder KK McCaslin of the University of Redlands women's lacrosse team was recognized by Synapse Sports (formerly womenslacrosse.com) as a member of the "Honor Roll" for her contributions during last week's game.

Each week, the staff of Synapse Sports reviews the recaps and updates on all levels of collegiate lacrosse to determine the recipients of their awards, which include Defensive Player, Offensive Player, and Rookie of the week, as well as the Honor Roll.

McCaslin played an instrumental part in preserving the Bulldogs' undefeated run through the 2012 campaign by scoring four goals and dishing out one assist during the squad's 16-4 rout over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges. She picked up three ground balls to go along with three draw controls. In addition, she forced one opponent turnover on defense.

Overall on the season, McCaslin ranks second on the team with 36 goals and sits third with 31 draw controls.

Currently, Redlands (13-0, 7-0 SCIAC) is among the seven schools that are receiving votes in the current Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Poll. The Bulldogs look forward to celebrating Senior Day on Sunday when they face off against Whittier College in a 1 p.m. Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) contest at Farquhar Field.
