Thirteen Bulldog Women's Soccer Players Collect SCIAC All-Academic Laurels

It was recently announced by the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) that 13 University of Redlands women's soccer players landed on the 2011-12 SCIAC All-Academic Team for their success in the classroom. Joining the 34 other student-athletes from the various SCIAC schools, the Bulldogs boast a junior-laden representation of honorees with seven coming from the Class of 2013. In addition, a pair of seniors and four sophomores gained the accolade.  

Of all of the fall sports to be recognized, the women's soccer team gained the most number of honorees among hte Bulldogs.

To be eligible for recognition of the SCIAC All-Academic team, a women's soccer player must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or better, have completed one full academic year at her institution, and have reached sophomore athletic eligibility.
