HOME OF BULLDOG WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

The University of Redlands women’s volleyball team will be a part of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Featured “Match of the Week” Web-cast on Tuesday as it takes on 8th-ranked University of La Verne on the road at 7:30 p.m.

After the Bulldogs’ three-game upset over the Leopards last season, this match-up has turned into a heated rivalry among the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) and the West Region. Redlands is currently 11-10 overall and tied for third in conference at 4-3 while La Verne sits atop the standings at 9-0 with a 17-5 overall record.

Tuesday’s match is the first time that any member of the SCIAC has been featured in an AVCA Match of the Week broadcast.
