Assistant Volleyball Coach
|

Following a two-year stint as an assistant coach at Westminster
College in Salt Lake City, Utah, Martha Brinton made the move to
California in August of 2009 to help with the Bulldog volleyball
program. She brings 10 years of coaching experience to the
University of Redlands and looks forward to working with Head Coach
Mari Burningham, with whom she competed at Brigham Young University
from 1998 to 2001.
In addition to BYU, Brinton played volleyball at Idaho State
University, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in History
with a minor in German in 2004. She also has coached volleyball at
the club, high performance and college levels since 1999. Following
her college career, she worked for various ski and snowboard
resorts and continues to teach as a certified professional
instructor during the winter at Brighton in Utah.
Brinton also worked for the Intermountain Volleyball Association,
serving in a variety of capacities including coordinator of outdoor
events, store manager, coach, clinician, web site designer, and
director of Junior Olympic volleyball.
In her free time, Brinton enjoys biking, climbing, wakeboarding,
long-boarding, and reading. She currently resides in Moreno Valley.
