Senior Chris Smith Competes at NCAA Cross Country Championships

Senior runner Chris Smith (Fremont, CA) and first-year Head Coach Aaron Olswanger made the trip to St. Olaf College in Minnesota for Saturday’s NCAA Championship meet. In his second national meet, Smith gained experience by competing against the best runners in the country.

Amidst the cold and the nation’s top Division III harriers, Smith posted a time of 26:42.0.

Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) champion Occidental College placed 18th as a team while New York University won the national title.
