Angelo Posillico became the graduate assistant coach for track & field in July of 2008. In addition, he helps out with the cross country teams while attending the School of Education in pursuit of his Master of Arts in Higher Education.

A 2008 graduate from the State University of New York-Oneonta, Posillico competed for the Red Dragons throughout his career as a weight throw and hammer throw specialist. Current Redlands Head Coach Mike Schmidt worked with the track & field program at Oneonta during Posillico’s first three seasons.

Posillico completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology and earned cum laude honors. While in college, he served as a resident advisor for three years.

Born in Naples, Italy, Posillico graduated from W.T. Clarke High School in Westbury, New York, before attending Oneonta.

Posillico strives to become a head coach at a competitive college and eventually become an athletic director. During his spare time, this member of the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) enjoys competing in power-lifting and studying nutrient biochemistry. He currently resides in Redlands.
