After originally joining the University of Redlands football staff as the Bulldogs' offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach and recruiting coordinator in the spring of 2011, Jim Good expanded his duties by adding the title of Associate Head Coach in 2012.

Good arrived at Redlands after a four-year stint as the head coach at Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota. While overseeing the squad, he led the Pipers to their best finish since the 1997 season while increasing the roster size by 30 players. In addition, Good played an instrumental role in improving the team's overall GPA, revealing his commitment to the Division III student-athlete experience.

In addition, this member of the American Football Coaches Association brings significant coaching experience from his time at Texas Lutheran University, Illinois College, and Linfield College (OR).

While at Texas Lutheran, he served as the associate head coach with responsibilities as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. During his final three seasons, the TLU offense finished as high as 10th in the nation in passing offense while breaking school records in various offensive categories. In his first season as the offensive coordinator, the team finished with a 7-3 record, which was the most wins in over 20 years.

He garnered similar success at Illinois College, helping players reset the school's single-season passing and rushing records.

This Washington native completed his Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science at Oregon State University after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Linfield. While competing for the Wildcat football team, this four-year letter-winner garnered all-conference honors as a senior running back.

Outside of coaching, Good enjoys fishing, reading, biking, and spending time with his family, which includes his wife, Robyn, and two children.
